The College of Education and Health Professions (COEHP) Honors Program is a journey, a privilege, and a commitment. What makes the COEHP Honors Program work is matching gifted students together with terrific teachers. Honors courses will make you think hard about new things you have never encountered before. The Honors Program will challenge you to explore your role and responsibilities in the world. Our honors students pursue a rigorous academic program that satisfies all requirements of their academic departments and college and extends beyond those requirements to provide a basis for outstanding achievement and recognition for that achievement.
Honors students have many talents and the COEHP Honors Program is a success only if we help you explore ways in which you can use your talents to help the larger world around you that is so much in need of the intelligence and compassion that are the backbone of a good education. You can obtain an education anywhere, but thoughtful and responsible education is hard to find on any campus. The COEHP Honors Program fosters this kind of authentic, committed education. We can assure you that our program of study will be rich and rewarding.
